Following stillbirth the sense of loss can be overwhelming for the bereaved mother, her family and friends. The eagerly awaited delivery of a new baby touchs everyone. Baby showers. Gifts. Getting the nursery ready for baby. Then, like a thunderbolt out of the blue, nothing will ever be the same.

What to do? Send flowers? Send a card? Sorry, Hallmark doesn't make one to send stillbirth mothers the last time we checked. The best thing you can do to show your love and support is to make a contribution to The Missing Angel Foundation.

Founded in 2000 by a stillbirth father, donations to MAF help fund the operation of our "sister" organization, The National Stillbirth Society, that was formed to help educate women in the fight against stillbirth. Donations also pay for the continuing development and operation of this memorial website where stillborn babies can be acknowledged, giving parents a sense of closure, and www.protectyourpregnancy.com.

When you donate $10 or more we will list you on our website as a "Sponsoring Angel". Contribute $35 and receive an acknowledgement card for your tax records donations to MAF are fully tax deductible For $100 or more we'll do the above and send the baby's parents a letter in which we tell them of your generosity. Finally, for a donation of $1,000 or more Donors will be listed on our website, receive the acknowledgment card, and be able to include a link to the Donor's website, an important benefit for businesses who want to show their support in the fight against stillbirth.
