Welcome to The Missing Angel Chat Room

This chat site is operated and maintained by The National Stillbirth Society, the only activist stillbirth organization on the Internet. Our goal is to educate women about stillbirth in order that they might recognize early signs of fetal distress and take appropriate action before it's too late. We encourage women to share their experiences openly and freely so that all women might be empowered through knowledge to ask the questions that need to be asked, and to challenge medical providers when the answers they receiver from them fall short of the mark.
DIRECTIONS:

1. In the box below type in your first name followed by your state of residence, for example Sharon - AZ.

2. On the " Your profile" line put anything you're willing to disclose, so others can get to know you. Mother of Camille born 8/17/2000 of cord compression. (You must enter a name but you're permitted not to enter profile information.)

3. After entering, click the "Volano" button in the box below to open the chat window. You may then sit back and follow the "thread" of the discussion. You are not required to comment. If you wish to comment, simply type what you have to say in the white box at the bottom of the chat page and hit ENTER.

4. Clicking on a chatter's name will display his or her "profile" in the white entry box at the bottom of the chat page. Double click and a "Private Room" will open up in a pop up chat screen and "invite" that person to take part in a private chat not visible to other persons in the main chat area.

This chat room is not meant to be a “comfort” site. Instead, it is a place where all women can come to learn from the experiences of others and to share knowledge. The greatest thing you will learn here is that you are not alone. It is possible that some may find the truth distressing so be aware and be prepared. Finally, stick to stillbirth issues only. If you’re selling something, take it to E-Bay. Thank you.

Funding for this chat site is provided us by The Missing Angel Foundation, an affiliate of The National Stillbirth Society. Contributions to the foundation are fully tax deductible. As an all-volunteer organization we invest 100 cents of every dollar received from families to fight stillbirth. Click to Here Contribute.
